My students are a lively and talkative group of fifth graders. They attend a prekindergarten through fourth grade urban elementary school. There are two students who receive special education services. Most of the students come from economically disadvantaged homes. The majority of them live in single parent households. They enjoy working in groups and presenting information. The students interact well with each other. There is a sense of camaraderie among them. The students enjoy school and attend regularly. Absenteeism is minimal. Each student has his or her own unique personality. I truly enjoy teaching them and watching as they grow academically and emotionally.
