We are a Dual Language Classroom in which students learn to read in their first language, spanish. They are eager to learn and pick up books to expand their learning. They have a healthy variety of books in English, but the selection in Spanish is minimal. I have tried to build up our library with my own money, but have come up short because of what is available out there. I have found that there is a wider range of Spanish books available online. This is why I would appreciate my students having access to an iPad. I want to ensure that their selection is rich and most importantly at their fingertips. They would also use the iPad for critical response to reading through apps like Seesaw.
