My students are a diverse, energetic, and challenging group of high schoolers from the least desirable zip codes in San Francisco. Ninety percent of the students are either foreign born or first generation children of immigrants from Asia, the Pacific Islands, Central America, and other countries. Ninety percent are minorities. Seventy-seven percent are economically disadvantaged.
