This year my students will not have individual desks with storage space to store books and school supplies. Instead, they will be seated in small groups at plain, round tables with no storage under the top surface. My project request is for back-of-chair organizer pockets that will provide someplace for the students to put their daily school materials. The organizer pockets are made of sturdy fabric, and they slip over the backs of the student chairs.
These back-of-chair organizer pockets will provide an essential place for all of my students to organize and store their notebooks, textbooks, chapter books, pencils, sharpeners – all of their curriculum and school materials – in a space-efficient manner. All the students have to do is turn around in their chairs to access the pockets that open out on the backs of the chairs. We switch subjects all day long, so when one lesson ends my students need a way of swiftly and efficiently storing previously used materials and retrieving new materials. In addition, we need to maintain an orderly classroom overall, with all materials in their places.
When my students are organized they are focused, and consequently, they perform their school work so much better! I sincerely appreciate your consideration of a donation to our class project for back-of-chair organizer pockets. Thank you in advance.
