Our students are excited to learn in a variety of ways. We are asking for two picnic tables. Students will be able to carry their learning out of doors with the use of these tables. We are asking for art easels. Our school is in a rural area with very scenic views. Students will be able to paint pictures of their environment from many different angles with the use of the easels and the picnic tables. We have gardeners who volunteer their time. They provide activities for our students to plant and grow a variety of vegetables and flowers. With the garden gloves our students will be able to get their hands in the dirt and actively participate with their learning.
Doing hands-on science and art provides with deeper learning and mastery of curricular subjects. Being able to take their learning outside by using the picnic tables, easels, and garden gloves will allow students to learn at such a deeper level because they are "doing" so many different activities.
