Our students have been exploring coding through many different methods. We have explored using color as commands and have transitioned this knowledge into blockly coding introducing the virtual world to our projects.
Now students need to bring their experience and knowledge into the REAL WORLD of coding by hands-on building. These robots use the same programming platforms which students are currently using making the transition into robotic programming smoother.
Makerblock robots will allow students to combine their individual knowledge into group activities to accomplish a common goal. In addition to math and applied sciences, students develop analytical skills as they troubleshoot and record their progress in learning logs.
