I am requesting books for our leveled reading library. My students love our classroom library, but many of them don't know how to read. They simply browse through picture books or zone out when the books are above their reading levels. We need appropriate leveled texts for my students to read.
With this project, my students will finally have books they can read on their own!
In the words of Dr. Seuss; the more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go. I want my students to have every opportunity to read books in our classroom, especially since many of them don't have books at home. By funding this project and helping us get appropriate books for the classroom, you will be giving these students the gift of learning and helping them find joy in reading.
