The Irving library is a learning place. Along with finding the books we love to read, we learn about the world around us. Irving students are hungry to learn more through hands on projects. The students of the Irving library have built candy dispensers from cardboard and duct tape, developed video games on Code.org and explored electricity and circuits. Genius Hour is a favorite activity. My students love STEM projects so much they want to come in at recess to explore.
