The majority of my students come from lower-middle class families. Many of them have little to no interest in doing well in math class because of the 鈥渟tand and deliver鈥 approach, by allowing them to construct figures it allows my students to use their other interests and use them in math class. Being that our school is primarily low income and students of poverty, we do not have the funds to pay for many of the materials our students need to be successful in school.
