In second grade, students make the transition from learning to read to reading to learn. My students need a wide selection of books at their fingertips so that we can nurture and grow their passion for reading, not just build their reading level. These books will enhance my students' learning. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read.
Reading should be fun. My students will use these books in their free reading time. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students this upcoming school year and years to come will enjoy the opportunity to read these books.
