I am asking for the following materials that will allow my students to not only learn the process of measuring different types of weather, but it will allow them to do it themselves! These materials include: a Weather Ball Barometer, Weather Tracker, Dwyer Wind Meter, Cloud-Forming Aparatus, Rain Gauge Thermometer Combo, Anemometer, and a Guide to the Sky-Cloud Identification Poster. The students will use these materials outdoors as part of their weather station we are building in class. These hands-on activities will engage the students on a daily basis and they will also learn how to record their results. The students will be able to use all of these materials throughout the year and see how their data changes as well. They will learn how to participate with a group while completing this yearly project. The students will be completing the tasks and will share the results with their peers.
