Reading is a gateway for future success at school and in life. The board books collection will stimulate children's imaginations and expand their understanding of the world. Providing literacy opportunities to early childhood students ensures their success. Through hearing and reading stories, my students will be exposed to a wide variety of words.
Wobble chairs and comfy seats will widen the opportunity for my students to read. Students will be allowed to responsibly choose where they work each day, learn to share and take turns and to move with how they learn best. With this money I will purchase three wobble chairs, six soft seats and two comfy floor seats. In addition, I will purchase board books for my students to read.
Flexible seating is a fun and engaging way to get young learners interested in books. Pre-K bodies love to move. Combining movement, choices and books is the perfect way to get my class excited about reading. I believe flexible seating will allow my student's to experience the joy of literacy and provide a positive first experience in school.
