The use of these STEM bins in my construction center will allow my students to use hands-on, play-based activities to create and construct original creations. To do this they will have to make a plan or design on paper. They will have to construct it and evaluate their design. If needed, they may have to problem solve to make it work. While they are doing all of this they will be engaging in conversation about their creation with others.
Through the exploration and creativity of using these STEM bin activities, my students will learn to problem-solve, create, plan, and play! All of these things will help my students grow into life long learners who will not be afraid to take chances and who will love learning!
