This year my goal is for my kindergarten students to have their own space while doing activities on the active panel, doing math problems with partners and doing our number talk activities in math.
Having a rug in the classroom will give the students their own sense of space while working together in math and reading, working in their math groups and focusing during guided work.
My students are encouraged to work together in our classroom and having a rug where they can easily turn and talk to their partner would be amazing and beneficial to their learning in the classroom.
