My Pre-K classroom will be filled with opportunities for children to discover and learn socially as well as build a foundation for math and literacy to develop from. Our learning with be organized into themes to create excitement in the classroom that flows through all aspects of their learning.
The items that I have selected will enable my children to have these experiences. Through the dramatic play center, my students will be able to make connections between books we read, stories we write, and experiences they have with their classmates when they create a bakery, flouriest shop, campsite, restaurant, vets office, or a tea party. Every two-to-three weeks I will change the center to follow along with the theme of our learning in class and then we will rotate them back around towards the last few months of class to enjoy again.
A child's first experience in school is very important and I want to make everything as perfect as possible so your help in creating a wonderful learning environment will be greatly appreciated by all this year and the years to come.
