School is so entirely different than it was when I went. We sat very nice and neat and traditionally. In the '70's and 80's we had an outlet to play; it was called outside. We burned off energy. Now, many years later as a teacher, I see (and accept) the changes. I think having flexible seating in my classroom I will see less fidgeting and more concentration on the given information. I would like to implement a choice in seating including stools, balance balls, bands on chairs for ADHD students, and wobble seats. We all are more at ease when we are comfortable. Students (children) are no different. We forget they are still human beings, just smaller. Thank you so very much!!
