The purpose of my project is to establish a center with 2 iPads for my students. In that center, my students will engage in a series of listening comprehension activities that are engaging in order to enhance, reinforce and practice in the target language, French. The use of iPads will give them the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of French cultures, accents, and practices. This will also ensure equal access to technology in order to prepare my students for working and living in our increasingly digital age and global citizenship.
Finally, the activities that my students will access through these iPads will be aligned with the standards of ACTFL
( American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) known as the 5 Cs:
Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, Communities of which our daily teaching practices are aligned.
