This double sided easel will help me year after year to be better organized and facilitate my teaching of language arts in both languages. With the double sides I could use one side for English and the other for Spanish and quickly have access to previous day's work. Managing both languages in one classroom could be challenging and this would facilitate the learning because it would give me the opportunity to be better prepared with a lesson/concept that I could keep up for the entire week. It would help manage time better for me, since many times I have to erase and re-write the words/letters/sentences from one language to another. I could keep all my teaching materials in the bins provided and would have easy and convenient storage and access for quick retrieval. Another benefit of this easel for my class is that it is lined, so that I can teach children how to write the letters correctly in the spaces. Since the easel is also magnetic the kids would be able to use it to put up magnetic letters and build words. It is all about novelty with these kindergarteners and we don't have a minute to lose precious instructional time re-writing, or wasting expensive chart paper.
