COVID-19 has placed many restrictions on us as educators. We are expecting our students to log in and attend meetings online as well as participate in discussion groups from their homes. Many of our students come from large families. They often have several siblings attempting to participate in virtual learning from the same room of their home. So you can imagine how difficult it gets to attend to online meetings when multiple siblings are also learning. It becomes an even bigger struggle when our students have to participate, by speaking; their voices often get drowned out by family members talking, tv/radio, dogs barking, and other household distractions.
Your donation would allow me to purchase headphones with microphones so that our students can focus and attend to our virtual meetings from their homes.
