My students are silly, creative, inquisitive, and truly enjoy learning. They love art projects and hands on learning such as science experiments or planting carrots in our school garden. I strive to create an environment that is warm, loving, and safe for all my students.
My students mostly come from a low socioeconomic background and receive free lunch. Most students come from a single parent household or are immigrants who have recently arrived to this country. The district our school is in is the #1 most diverse school district in the country and we are very proud to serve such a diverse population. With the diverse population comes a wide range of needs. My goal in my classroom is to meet the needs of all of my students and create a fun, loving place for them to blossom into life long learners.
