Many of my students in my class and in our district come from low-income homes. By being able to provide my students with a variety of hands- on activities to aid them in learning literacy skills the better my students will be prepared for their future educational journey. I have chosen hands-on activities that can be used in a variety of different activities within our literacy learning. Literacy games help to promote a fun and engaging way for these struggling readers to have a little "fun" while practicing something that they see as a chore. These hands-on activities will help make lessons engaging and impactful for all of my students on a daily basis.
