Students learn differently these days, and our classrooms need to reflect their ever-growing minds. This project will fund specific tools and centers that students can use to perform tasks such as building and/or engineering projects.
Who says Kinders can't code? Coding is an inevitable part of our technology and more and more jobs are in need of this skillset so let's set them up to be successful starting now. I'm simply trying to set the foundation for our future so they earlier they are exposed to technology the more practice they will have, after all, practice makes perfect. Coding bugs such as I am requesting with this project will allow for students to code them and make them move, allowing them the hands-on learning to learn how to code.
Your funding will help to put those necessary tools into the hands of my kindergartners to expose them to real-world situations and walk into first grade confident and prepared for whatever comes next.
