My second graders dream of going from reading picture books to chapter books. Help make this dream a reality for them so that at the end of the year they can enjoy reading series books with partners. My project will provide them with high interest level books to grab their attention and help build their reading stamina. My students are reading between level AA to level N. Having a variety of books will help to grow their love for reading and keep them motivated to read more and more. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that allow them to read independently a just right book of their choice. When children are excited about books, they want to read more. Therefore, their love for reading grows and so does their ability to read!
