I brought my personal boogie board into my classroom and my students LOVED using it.
It's a very simple device, but is engaging and helpful when practicing writing words, sentences and math facts. It is much more fun for a 1st grader to write on a boogie board than use a boring pencil and paper. It is a device where you use a stylus to write and when you're done writing, you push the button at the bottom at it becomes a clean slate. It is the modern day magnetic doodle board that many of us used as kids. I hope to use these at my word word station and also a station in math to practice writing math problems.
