I have a great group of 4th grade students full of energy and knowledge. We have bigger class sizes this year so trying to get movement into the classroom has been a challenge. I teach reading and math to smaller groups of 4th graders and writing, social studies and science to my homeroom. I am proud of my students and all the hard work they put into the challenges they face every day.
I have tried something new this year, flexible seating! I wanted to give my students a chance to work in a different space and try new seating arrangements. This gives them the choice to learn in a different environment, whether it be in a group or by themselves.
