This year my class is very engaged technologically. We use the iPads and desktops in the classroom to give the students different opportunities for learning. The students go on websites for enhancing and testing their abilities to read and comprehend a given text, as well as practice skills in mathematics. I believe my students will benefit from having more(rather than limited) ability to use technology, because this is a more engaging and fun way for the children to practice what they have learned. Currently only two of the classroom desktop computers work. I fear that because I work in an urban district with a limited budget, if any of the other computer die I will not have enough to maintain the needs of my class which is already lacking.
