My students come in every day and are eager to learn and thrive at school. I try to work hard each and every day to provide a learning environment that my students are proud of and enjoy! As a first-year Kindergarten teacher I want to make sure my students start off their education on the right foot! I want to make sure they have the materials they need and deserve!
I proudly work at a Title I school, where 100% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Most of my students come from low socioeconomic families, where they often lack basic resources that other children often take for granted. I have many single-parent families that often work two and three jobs to provide food and a home for their children. I have students who have experienced homelessness, hunger, and more.
I care deeply about the precious students I get to see everyday! I want to see them grow into successful and responsible adults!
