This dry erase Post-it surface will magically turn all of the students' work tables into a collaborative work space. I will be cutting each of the 6 ft. x 4 ft. pieces of material in half so that all six student tables are equipped with the same reusable surface.
Students will be able to use their white board table space to record main ideas from readings, share ideas in a group setting, identify problems and solutions, and use their creativity over and over again. The dry erase table space will allow students to jot down thoughts without feeling as if they have to have the perfect answer. It will be a catalyst to their creativity and allow them to express their thoughts throughout the day.
This material is said to be very durable, so instead of giving students and groups papers and graphic organizers to problem solve, they will simply be able to use the table in front of them! When they are finished with one task, they will be able to erase their work and start on a new one. The dry erase surface will create an optimal work space for students to problem solve and tackle projects together as they get prepared for tasks in college and the workforce.
