My class is about creativity and development. The students have been working hard all year on their projects, and for the most part, I've been supplying the essential materials for them.
Though it breaks my heart, I cannot afford to buy each of my students a quality portfolio to present to the judges, and these kids are already so stressed trying to come up with ideas to enhance their project. Students are writing full length novels, creating films, helping their community, etc., all while maintaining their excellent grades.
My students would benefit greatly to have their essential materials provided for them. By eliminating the need to buy materials, my students can keep their focus on their project.
