Due to the specific student population special needs, I am needing Chromebooks so that the each special needs students are able to access curriculum on their grade level while remaining in the regular classrooms. Chromebooks in education opens up a whole new world of learning! Students can get individualized assignments and receive immediate feedback with these. They can also learn life long skills such as typing and navigating a computer. Specifically in my classroom, the Chromebooks are used for students to access audio books, take reading tests, receive interactive lessons through a program called NearPod, complete research projects, and other programs that enhance my lessons. Not only will these project give the students new opportunities but it will truly show them that their teachers and community care for them.
