This collaborative class of 15 Earth and Space Science students has been participating in UT Environmental Science Institute's "Scientist in the Classroom" program. Twice or more a month, PhD candidate and Paleoclimatologist Samantha Krausse visits our classroom and has had students digging deep into sediment cores and has also stoked the fires of their inspiration to build an amazing 21st century teaching tool, the Augmented reality sandbox.
