Last year we introduced Breakout Boxes to our 7th Graders. We borrowed boxes from another teacher and used Digital Breakouts to help our students build their problem solving and team building skills. As a 7th grade team, we鈥檇 like to have our own Breakout Edu set to further engage our students, not only with team building and problem solving, but within our content areas as well.
Breakout EDU kits are like escape rooms for the classroom and make learning challenging and fun!
Engaging our students is a challenge we face everyday as educators. Students absorb more when they are able interact and have hands on experiences rather than always listening to a lecture and taking notes. With Breakout EDU boxes, we would be able to tailor breakouts to our specific lessons in all content areas.
Whether it be to introduce, practice, review or have fun, students will have to work together, use what they know and have learned to solves puzzles and clues to unlock a set of locks. Ultimately, when all locks are open, students BREAKOUT all while racing against the clock.
