I am requesting air conditioners for my very busy and active Kindergartners. Our rooms are hot! After recess students are sweating, panting and fanning themselves and this becomes a major distraction. They have problems concentrating when they are uncomfortable. The air conditioners would help keep the climate bearable as well as conducive to learning. It is challenging for students to learn when it is really warm. Each spring and fall for a few months, the weather can be unpredictable. Last spring, we had days over 102 degrees in June. Having the air conditioners would assist, along with fans, in keeping the learning environment pleasant in the classroom for students.
