Help me give my students with disabilities the opportunity to create their best work with the incredibly versatile iPad, so they may share their accomplishments and ideas with the world.
Research has proven that iPads are devices that can be used as both Assistive Technology and instructional technology because students with disabilities can download apps that provide visual, auditory and tactile learning opportunities, but could also be used as learning tools for any student
Many of my students are also faced with the challenge of being immigrants and or having parents that are immigrants. The vast majority of my students also live in homes without computers and tablets. Although some have access to smartphones, they often do not have internet and or wi-fi at their homes. They deserve to work with state of the art technology in the classroom just like everyone else.
