My students have limited supplies at my school. These ukuleles would make such a huge difference in further motivating my amazing students. They have been asking to learn a stringed instrument for two years, but our budget is small and does not roll over from year to year.
The ukulele is an inexpensive, accessible instrument for small hands. The chords are simple to master, so my students will be immediately successful. My goals for the students are to be able to accompany another instrument, play solos and ensembles, and eventually, play for a live audience.
