STEM gives students the knowledge and skills to solve problems, gather and evaluate information, and make sense of the information they gather. STEM lessons focus on real-world issues and problems and are guided by the engineering design process. STEM lessons are designed to immerse students in hands-on inquiry and open-ended exploration. Students work in productive teams to solve a challenge.
