Your generous donations can make it possible for the students in my classroom to have access to more technology. Our classroom is in need of technology to assess students’ reading progress, provide high interest reading passages, and track each child’s individual growth. Digital learning offers me the ability to provide educational experiences that are tailored to meet each child’s individual needs and learning goals. Currently, we have six Chromebooks to share among 26 students. With the addition of 3 Chromebooks, students will have more access to the online learning tools that support the classroom instruction. If my project is funded, every child in my class would have access to technology during Language Arts and Math rotations. Students will use these Chromebooks to take assessments on STAR reading, Accelerated Reading, Lexia, Dreambox, MyOn and working in Google Classroom. They will also be used to collaborate with their teammates on a reading passage, research project, and they will be used during math rotations. Our children will be able to explore, research, and create with the additional Chromebooks in our classroom. These Chromebooks will allow our children the opportunity to thrive and succeed in the first grade. I want to thank you for considering donating to our first grade class.
