My students have weak core muscles and struggle to sit up on their chairs. Students are often tipping their chair to the side or back when they are using it.
Flexible seating helps student burn energy, burn calories, increase oxygen flow to the brain, and improve core strength.
Increasing movement for students increases student achievement. By providing students with seats that allow them to move and build their core muscles, they are being provided with opportunities to improve their academic achievement as well.
More and more research is showing how children are not getting the same amount of exercise they had in the past. They do not have the same muscle tone. Flexible seating helps with these issues.
