I am a new GT pull out teacher. Currently, I am supplementing my students with as much hands-on discovery as I can, but I am lacking the resources to do this with all of the standards I teach. It is rewarding to see the excitement and joy these students show when learning through hands-on experimentation and I would like to offer them more.
I would like to see my 200+ students become artists, scientists, engineers and computer programmers. Having the right tools and materials available in the classroom plays an important role in providing high-quality STEM experiences for children. The materials I am requesting will help my students discover things about the world through hands-on experimentation and activities. By providing open-ended materials that incorporate STEM components, children become prepared for the world in which they live. They develop the valuable 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity by engaging in exploration and learning how things work.
This donation will change my students' lives for the better because these STEM activities and projects will serve as an educational foundation that will blossom into a love of learning, starting at an early age and continuing into adulthood.
Please consider donating and being a part of shaping our future scientists, engineers, computer programmers and more.
