Young children learn new skills through play. Play-based learning encourages language development, helps develop social skills, increases motor abilities, teaches independence, and fosters creativity and imagination.
These new materials will allow my young students to have the opportunity to engage with toys and activities that they haven't previously been exposed to. They will have the chance to explore, play, and learn by using these "hands-on" materials. The new supplies will also be used with my students to role model learning opportunities for parents and caregivers. New toys and materials are exciting for young children and can help instill at a young age that learning is fun! Help me reach my goal of obtaining these new materials to be able to provide developmentally appropriate play opportunities to the young children I work with.
