Students love to show their creativity and in order to show that creativity they need fine motor skills. Each year we see more and more students with fine motor deficits. Their finger muscles have not fully developed.
The materials I have asked for can all be used to develop stronger fingers to do such activities as holding a pencil to write with and to draw with, using their pincer grasp to pick up materials such as pennies, buttons, beads, and more, and to create an art project, and much more.
