I work in a Title I district where budgets are limited. This collection of books will enhance the much-loved school library that is in desperate need of new books. The school library is a place where my students can independently choose books of their interest! I have taught my students how to love and care for the books in the library so that every student has the opportunity to read them. I continue to choose books for my library with my student's interests in mind. My students are currently very interested in reading nonfiction and graphic novel books, which is something I feel my current library lacks.

About my class
