Our school is lacking in Stem projects. Using the Legos and various Environmental Science projects kits will help give our students some much needs hands on learning of the scientific method, understanding theory and purposes plus research of historical architecture. Through these projects students will utilize research, writing and technology skills to further enhance the learning process to make connections enhanced.
Both the Legos and Environmental Science projects will touch all of our students including Esl/bilingual, special needs, low income and general education students. Our students in the K-2 classes would use those Legos kits to learn about careers, devices used for those various careers and how they help our society. Students in the 3-5 classes would learn about American and foreign historical buildings, the types of architecture they represent and inspire our students to complete projects.
