My third grade classroom is an economically and racial diverse classroom. Each day I teach reading, writing, math, social studies and science to 20, eight and nine year old boys and girls. More than half of my students are English Language Learners. My students speak a variety of different languages at home. In addition, there are a high number of low income families. Many of whom qualify for free or reduced lunch.
My students are eager learners who come to school each day full of energy and with a desire to try new things. Many of my students do not have access to a computer or other technology source at home.
