Many of my students come to school ready to learn but with no school supplies. I remember how excited my own children were to go and buy their back to school supplies.
Giving students the materials they need will help them be successful and organized from day one. My students will use all of these materials daily. As they transition to 5th grade we work on organization skills and note taking. Many of my children need to bring their notebooks home to help remember the daily lesson and examples. I teach them how to label and date everything we write in our notebooks and who to keep our work organized.
