As as Speech Language Pathologist in a Title I school, many of my students do not have the best home life as some situations may emotionally be brought to school. As it is my responsibility to ensure that my students improve their communication skills, I strive to do speech activities that are fun, creative, and interactive. This helps set the seal on students as they become alive during therapy and forget they are actively learning. My students take pride in their work and are filled with much potential not to mention curiosity. I enjoy walking in my purpose as I aid students to remediate articulation errors, improve expressive/receptive language and fluency skills, along with effectively communicating their wants and needs.
