Last year was my first year as a teacher, and it was the beginning of a love I thought I could not achieve with a job. This isn't just a job, it's a first step as a person that can make a difference in children's lives. Not just any children, but children with special needs that have to live with physical/emotional and mental challenges throughout their lives. When I began teaching the students about science, I realized I needed materials that cater to their special abilities and I was not equipped with enough Microscopes or Magnets as well as lab coats or bibs to conduct hands on experiments which is what the children love to do, and that is what gets them motivated and excited to learn. My hope is that I can reach the hearts of those that can contribute and help to achieve what I need so that my students can feel like they CAN learn regardless of their own challenges.

About my class
