Our school has few supplies, and even less technology. Our netbooks were originally made in 2009, and were insufficient even at that time. Now they are slow, erratic, and often do not work at all, making my eager young scholars frustrated when they should be learning. Additionally, our textbooks are so old, I can no longer obtain replacement copies online, and the district will not approve purchasing a new version.
With aging textbooks and limited access to printing, I am looking to bring my classroom into the 21st century. These high-speed, inexpensive tablets will allow my students to experience simulations, design experiments, submit work electronically, and view up-to-date information instead of using a 16-year-old science textbook.
