This year my students will be following either a blended or fully remote school model. This is a challenging thing for all subjects, but particularly in science where we rely so heavily on collaboration and hands-on activities. A document camera will allow for students to see the same demonstrations and experiments we would normally do in person performed by their teacher while they watch from home. It also allows in-building students to see the activity projected on the board or their screens so they get a clear view no matter where they are sitting in our socially-distanced classroom. The voice amplifying microphone will be essential for teaching students in-building while wearing a face mask, especially with the windows open for ventilation. Both of these items will make a significant impact on the quality of instruction my students receive during this "new normal" school year. Thank you!
