With the recent flooding in the Houston area, many students are left without the appropriate technology that allows comfortable access to programs like Achieve 3000. Achieve 3000 delivers daily differentiated instruction for nonfiction reading and writing that鈥檚 precisely tailored to each student鈥檚 Lexile庐 reading level
This program can be activated by students using the Chromebooks in school and at home, and it will help increase students' literacy and fluency by allowing them to choose from hundreds of articles to read.
In addition, other web resources including Quizlet, Kahoot, BrainPop, and Google Classroom would be readily accessible during independent, small group and whole group activities. With access to in-class technology, students will be able to create speeches, presentations, and videos to assess their critical thinking skills as well as explain and support their arguments.
